职位描述

ROLE:

This position is responsible for the business development with big Retailers for the Asia Pacific region. This encompasses coordinating, directing, and leading multifunctional teams to work towards an established criteria or goal. Key responsibilities are to drive regional business line initiatives and liaise with global counterparts while advocating Asia Pacific region direction.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop country market access channels in line with regional/global retailer customer demands;
  2. Establish relationships with Retailers to ensure market presence and promote Intertek's position and interests;
  3. Manage teams within APAC and support structure to sales, business lines, and operations;
  4. Coordinate and communicate with local teams, ensure the excellence service delivery to major global clients;
  5. Coordinate with global business line leaders in driving growth and building a platform for exchanging ideas and knowledge;
  6. Will be accountable for delivering results based on established goals set forth by business line leadership;
  7. Support global key account management in deepening customer relationships and services offered;
  8. Work with local offices to develop new businesses to widen our service scope;
  9. Handle special enquiries, requests and related tasks from retailers & market;
  10. Provide necessary support to various seminars within and outside the organization;
  11. Perform other job-related assignments as required.

KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:

  1. More than 12 years working experience,at least 5+ years experience in Senior Management level;
  2. Qualified business development professional with relevant education background in commerce;
  3. Track record of experience in business development for a multinational organization on a global level;
  4. Excellent communication skills and capability of conversing effectively with other cultures;
  5. Good presentation skills and ability to convey key points effectively;
  6. Organized and detail oriented, good problem solving skills;
  7. Ability to work well under pressure;
  8. Critical thinking, active learning, and achievement oriented;
  9. Take initiatives for innovation;
  10. Good team work spirit and ability to manage multiple tasks;
  11. Fluent in spoken & written English;
  12. Overseas experience a must.
